New Zealand has successfully treated it’s first Multiple Sclerosis aHSCT patient, watch the MS Society of New Zealand’s webinar to hear from a panel of experts and the patient himself.  You will hear about David’s experience going through the process and how he is faring months post treatment, as well as the protocols and medical findings around the aHSCT treatment as a whole.

The MS Society of New Zealand marked World MS day 30 May 2023, by hosting the webinar to share the news and protocol information around New Zealand’s first MS aHSCT patient who successfully received the treatment.  The panel consisted of Amanda Rose National Manager MS Society NZ, Dr Jennifer Pereira Clinical Neurologist, our own Gilly Davy Neuro Physiotherapist and Dr Zoe Dyer originating from France but currently researching regulatory T cells at St Vincents in Sydney, and of course the patient himself, David.
