Gilly Davy is the founder and director of MS Get a Head Start, a consulting neurological physiotherapist and clinical director of Connect Neuro Physiotherapy. Gilly is passionate about the changing world of physical rehabilitation and exercise for Multiple Sclerosis. The innovative MS Get a Head Start Program has been the brain child of Gilly’s since 2012. She researched, trialled and developed the MS Get a Head Start program by pulling together a wide range of evidence based approaches and combining the unique approach of interval training exercise, education and ultimate self management. The program was initially trialled at the Advance Rehab Centre in Sydney, where the outstanding results achieved gave Gilly the impetus to take the program further. In 2019 Gilly launched the program internationally.

Gilly was proudly awarded the Australian Physiotherapy Association Ipsen special commendation for Achievement in Neurological Physiotherapy in 2015. In 2016 she was then awarded a Honorary Clinical Fellowship for the Australian Catholic University. Gilly graduated in the UK in 2004, where she worked before working in New Zealand for six years and obtaining her post graduate certificate in health and rehab science. Gilly then moved to the Advance Rehab Centre in Sydney for three and half years in which she started MS Get a Head Start and launched Connect Neuro Physiotherapy. She then returned to New Zealand in 2016, where she continues to provide clinic based treatment in Auckland, public speaking, lecturing, teaching and consulting roles under Connect Neuro Physiotherapy.
